I am so sorry about the passing of Aunt Pearl. She and Mama enjoyed talking to each other. After Mama died I picked up where Mama left off. Unfortunately I did not call here as often as Mama. Aunt Pearl was a sweet lady. You were so lucky to have her for a Mother. May her memory be a blessing.

My name is Carol NOLAN Price, sister to Bob Nolan and sister-in-law to Pat Nolan. I met Pearl several times through the years and we shared happy times with Bob and Pat and also when I traveled to N.C. for Pearl's birthday where I met many members of her family. A special memory I have of Pearl was during that time we stayed at Terry's house. Every morning I fixed her hair and we all went out shopping. I remember how she loved to shop and buy some little something she found she "just couldn't live without"! My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family, knowing you will receive comfort that Pearl is in Heaven with all those members of her family who went before her.

Dearest Lanier and Fowler families, Sincere sympathy and thoughts have been with all of you through this sad time. They say it is not how much material things we leave but the memories we carry in our heart of that loved one.. Some of you may not remember Bruce and I some fifty years ago when we were all thinner and had more hair. We remember lots of stories but whether they were accurate or true is a horse of a different color. I remember how beautiful in spirit and in person Ms.Pearl was and such a smile ...Her entire face would light up.. I lost Bruce three long years ago and I am pretty much housebound or I would have been with you all today.with warm hugs and tears sharing in your loss. You were Blessed to have had her for so long and her beauty continues to shine when you hear the name "Pearl". Love, Jill Ellis and Bruce (AWOL)

My aunt, Geraldine, is a resident at Carillon. This is how I met "Ms Pearl". I will always remember her smiles and her hats. What a beautiful and gracious lady! My prayers are with the family. A special thanks to her son for the blow pops that he bought Ms. Pearl and shared with the other residents. They truly enjoyed them.

She was a fine lady. I enjoyed taking her shopping and spending time with her. She loved parties and Halloween. She would bag her candy for the kids. Reese Pieces was her favorite. It was a pleasure to know her.

I am so sorry to hear of Miss Pearl's passing. I can see her now sitting across the dinner table from my grandmother Louise Parrish. She always asked me if I wanted her biscuit. She was so sweet and I know she will be missed. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

I didn't know Pearl well. The few times I did see her and talk to her, it is easy to see where the children (especially the boys) got their "GIFT" from!!! Having lost both parents, I know what you all are feeling. You will miss her daily, but still, enjoy the remembering of the good times. Feel comfort because she is in a much better place with the her loved ones that went on ahead of her. I know she loved and cherished each of you and that should give you comfort. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Kristi, Just wanted you to know how much I love and respected your mema. I know she had a lot to do with the beautiful woman you grew to be. When I married your dad she was one of the first people in your family that accepted me and always showed me respect and in return I love and respected her for that. I know you will miss her but I know your God is rejoicing to have another angel in heaven and I'm sure she and your mother are having a grand ole reunion. Your dad and I love you very much.
