On behalf of the Crabtree family, I am sending our thoughts and prayers to the family of James Avery. James worked with Daddy (Ed Crabtree) for many years as electricians and I know Daddy was very fond of James. Even as a child, I remember his smile and later when he would come to visit Mom and Dad. I know he will be missed and I know you have a special angel watching over you now in heaven. I smiled when I thought about James and Daddy "lighting up" heaven and catching up behind those pearly gates!

Mary and family, Tommy and I are so sad to hear of James passing. We enjoyed time spent together with you and James. He was a sweet man, and he was loved by so many. I know he will be sorely missed by all the family. Hold on to the precious memories that you all shared together. Thankful that he is no longer suffering, and he can breathe now without the help of oxygen. He is now "whole" again. Much love to the entire family, with continued prayers for Strength, Peace and Comfort as you go thru the days ahead. We are here if you need us. Love, Tammy, Tommy Keith and family

James was such a sweet and funny man. He appreciated and always commented on things (to me) that most people never mentioned. I will never forget the times he would express his thanks for my words I had either written in the church newsletter or even something as simple as a condolence I had posted for a friend who passed. The fact that he took the time to read my words and then tell me thank you meant more than he would ever know. Most of those efforts over the years went unnoticed by everyone else. But James read and appreciated them. He always had a little funny story to tell me when he saw me and he always seemed happy. I didn’t see him much after he got sick but I did miss him and I heard from him through others. He was one of a kind and I will miss him! Rest peacefully dear friend. You left your mark with at least one person!
