We are so sorry for your sudden loss. Our Prayers and thoughts are with the entire family. We did not have the pleasure of knowing Horace Perry but we know how much he was loved and respected by his son Richard, Kayla and his entire family. The memorial video shared a brief glimpse of a great life lived. I know he was a fanatic father since he raised such a great son who loves the Lord and his family and friends. I know Rich is passing down the values learned from his father, and we see this in his Horace's grandchildren. His legacy and strong values and will live through his children and grandchildren. As a father that's all we hope for our children and from this I know Mr. Horace Perry was a fantastic man and lived a good life here on earth and will have Eternal Life with the Lord. Rich and Kayla we love you both and you and your family are in our prayers. Nate & Cindy

Ralph, Carol and Family, I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. I first met Horace many years ago when I worked for Central Carolina Bank. There was a long line at the teller windows and he kept right on smiling. I told him that I appreciated his patience and smiling. He told me, "Well I have so much to smile about"! I never forgot that comment.

We will always remember Horace for the many kindnesses he showed us at Clark & Sorrell. We enjoyed each time he came by the shop whether for repairs or just to chat. Later we had the pleasure of meeting son, Ritchie and daughter-in-law, Kayla as well as their children. Horace's friendship will never be forgotten. What a nice tribute put together to honor his life. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Rest in peace, Horace. You had a wonderful life and family.

We were saddened to learn of Horace's sudden passing. In viewing the video, it is evident Horace was a happy person within, as he has a smile on his face in nearly all of the photos. Knowing his faith, we know he is enjoying a Sunday meal in heaven with his parents and other siblings who left us. They all met him at the pearly gates. Although he will be missed, the remaining siblings will find peace in knowing Horace is with our heavenly father. It was my pleasure to have known Horace and his family and hope they find peace with the unforgettable memories of their dad, grandfather, brother, and friend. God bless you all. Charles and Bambi Wilson (sister-in-law to Ralph & Carole Perry)

Richie and Kim and family, I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of your daddy. Horace was a great friend and neighbor to my family and I remember if we had any electrical problems daddy would always get Horace to fix it. My family loved and thought so much of your family. Your daddy was a very kind and giving man. I remember so well when Horace started decorating his yard at Christmas and the many nights we just rode by to admire it. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this time.

Buddha said, “Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle.” Mr. Perry, from the time we met, was open, warm and inviting; often with a story to share. It is this light that I will always remember. Infinite blessings to Ray, Kim and their family as they walk through this season. May God’s divine grace be with you and hold your heart in perfect order. Hugs to your heart, Tamara, Ty & Carter

We met Horres and Sondria during our visit in 2004 in the house of their neighbors Nancy and Pete. Both were wonderful people and although we only saw each other every few years, we always had the need to visit Horres. Unfortunately, he was not home in November 2018 and so we could not see each other anymore. We will always remember Horres in good memory and send our deepest condolence to the family. Rest in peace dear Friend. Toni and Annette

We met Horace Perry in the months leading up to Stefani and Ray’s wedding and were immediately welcomed by his kind smile and conversation. He was and will forever remain a loving influence, guiding hand, and positive mentor to the Ray we know and love. Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers are with Ray and the Perry family as they mourn their loss, reflect on the time spent together, and celebrate the life of Horace Perry.
