So sorry to know of Jerry's illness and passing. I knew her when we both worked at CCB/SunTrust. There was only ONE Jerry! Rest in Peace.

Sincere condolences to Jerry’s entire family. I met Jerry at Southern High Sch., we became friends, dated some. She was always a joy to be around and I’m sure the people she came in contact with in her life discovered the same pleasure in knowing Jerry. My condolences to all her family as we remember times w/ Jerry.

I met Jerry when I first became a real estate broker in Durham. She was a sharp mortgage loan officer, who had a great personality and knew her business. We later became friends, but lost touch a few years ago. I will never forget her love for animals, her sharp wit and her way of making you always feel welcomed around her. Rest in peace, Jerry. My deepest sympathy to her children and grandchildren.

Dear Mandy, Lisa, Ty & Family: I am so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. She did my first home loan for me when I bought my house. I loved talking to Jerry, she was a lot of fun. I used to get a kick out of her conversations with Hazel & Elsie when we were growing up. She knew a lot of people in the Durham community & they respected her financial knowledge & wisdom. Mandy please know how much you are all in my prayers.

I am saddened to learn of Jerry's passing. She and I were lifelong friends beginning in the first grade at Lowes Grove. We lived within walking distance and I fondly remember sharing pony rides at her house on Alston Ave. She, Jo Carol Mann, and I were best buddies in our early formative years, since we were close neighbors. Those memories take me back to a time of innocence and freedom when kids could play at a friend's house in the afternoon and safely walk home with no thought of danger. These are happy thoughts of Jerry that I will always cherish. She was a person of unique character and a strong sense of self. I will miss her. My sincere condolences go out to her family, friends, and all who loved her. Kindest regards, Doc Hamm
