I will miss Edna Earle (as I called her). She was a great lady and I was blessed to have known her and worked with her for years at the Gospel Center and Grove Park Chapel. I am rejoicing that she is with her Lord and Saviour and with her family members. She was always joyful and cheerful whenever you talked to her. Please know I am praying for her family as I know she will be greatly missed.

Dear Family, I was so sorry to hear about Edna Earle passing away. I saw and talked with her the other Thursday at Hillcrest. I was so glad to see her because it had been a few years since we talked over the fence before Ben passed away. She was such a sweet person and I know she will be missed by many that knew her. I know she is rejoicing in Heaven with her loved ones. May God Give You Comfort and Peace During This Time of Sorrow! My Thoughts and Prayers Are With You! Sincerely, Hope Raynor

I have very precious memories of Edna Earle and Ben, Monroe and France and Margie and Conrade with Terease and Aunt Lori's family. We would get together for Birthday's after my Mom ( Aunt Bill ) and Aunt Cora had passed away. Edna Earle was such a sweet loving person and always so much fun to be around. I know she is rejoicing in heaven with her beloved Ben. I know that my two beautiful children Jeff Hartman and Sherra Hartman are praising the Lord with both of them. God bless the family and know that my loving thoughts are with all of you. My prayer is that we will all be together and it won't be long I praised God's holy name.

Such sweet memories I have of you and I, working at secretarial jobs in downtown Durham, meeting each day for lunches with other friends for gossip, jokes and fun. And, what great Sundays we had. First church (me at my Methodist and you at your Baptist), then a bite to eat and off to explore Duke University's Rose Garden or some beautiful park. You had access to a CAR! No girl our age had such a luxury. What fun! One of my favorite memories is our trip to the beach for days of sun, sand and water, laughing and enjoying all the attention received from the boys! Oh my! Thanks for honoring me as a bridesmaid at my wedding. You were adorable in that silly dress. Then years of no contact, but your nephew, Jay Ladd, putting us together again! Great! Thanks for being my friend, for in a lifetime you only get few. I was blessed to have known you.

What a wonderful assurance to know that Edna Earle knew the Lord Jesus Christ as her Personal Saviour, and now being assured that she is in heaven! I am thankful that because of Him, I will see her again one day, possibly soon. She was such a fun sister-in-law!
